I had a wonderful time with the guide Nancy during my 2.5 days in Datong. She arranged everything and had suggestions on where to stay and where to eat. She was flexible - when the Hanging Temple was closed due to excessive winds, she took me to see the Ying Xian Wooden Pagoda, Fogong Temple. It was snowing and she adjusted the schedule to still see as much as possible in my short time. She was also extremely knowledgeable and a great guide through the sites of Datong and the surrounding area. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour!!!

<p>This was the highlight of my trip to Datong! I came here during a Chinese National Holiday weekend and so it was extra busy. Viator connected me with Nancy beforehand and she recommended that I start earlier than the normal start time in order to manage with the crowds. Star was a very knowledgeable and experienced guide. The driver was also very good. I really enjoyed my day tour and my experience on this trip. The hanging temple and the yungang grottoes are really special places and I'm so happy to have the chance to experience them.</p>

Abbiamo visto prima il tempio sospeso e poi gli yungang grottoes, partiti verso le 9 dal nostro ostello e rientrati a datong centro verso le 17:30. I posti valgono la pena e Nancy non solo parla bene inglese, ma spiega molte cose, soprattutto delle grotte yungang. Al ritorno Nancy è l'autista sono stati gentilissimi a fare una sosta alla stazione del bus per aiutarci a prendere i biglietti per Pechino, per poi portarci direttamente in centro dove volevamo cenare. Il vero valore aggiunto del tour per noi è stato quello di poter parlare con Nancy ed avere uno scambio libero con lei, cosa molto rara con un cinese nella nostra esperienza di 3 settimane in questo paese.

Nancy es la mejor guía. Se ocupó de conseguirnos las habitaciones mucho antes de la hora de check in. Nos llevó hasta el Monasterio Colgante, se preocupó por intentar aprender palabras en español. Muy paciente y muy clara en su explicación. Muy recomendable

Una visita Excelente a las Grutas y el Templo colgante. Ibamos mi mujer y yo, y los 4 niños (de 7 a 12 años) Nos recogió Nancy en el Hotel, en un monovolumen amplio y con un conductor muy amable. Durante el camino nos fue hablando de la cultura y la historia de China, hablando un inglés buenísimo. Entramos al complejo de las grutas con ella, y nos contó la historia de cómo se fueron excavando con todo lujo de detalles, parando las veces que hiciera falta para hacer fotos. Las grutas son increíbles, si vienes a China hay que verlas. Al terminar pasar por la campana, si la tocas 3 veces da buena suerte, y los niños lo pasaron muy bien. Después, camino del templo, nos ofreció comer en un restaurante con comida rápida y abundante y muy bien de precio. Ella y el conductor se querían pagar su parte, pero era realmente económico y después de insistir nos dejó invitarles. La visita por la tarde al Templo Colgante fue espectacular, nos da detalles de cada parte del mismo, y nos da tiempo para hacer todas las fotos que queremos. Incluso ella nos hace algunas fotos de grupo muy buenas. Después nos llevó de vuelta al hotel, y como se había hecho un poco tarde, hasta nos pidió unas pizzas para que nos las trajeran al hotel!! Muy recomendable, muy bien de precio, y una guía de lo mejor que hemos visto en China, y hemos estado casi 20 días!

En nuestro viaje de dos semanas por China pasamos un día con Nancy. Nos recogió en el aeropuerto a primera hora con un vehículo (con conductor) amplio y muy cómodo, donde quedaron nuestras maletas todo el día. Visitamos primero el templo colgante (espectacular), después fuimos a comer a Datong y de ahí a las grutas, dejándonos más tarde en el centro de Datong para dar un paseo hasta la hora de nuestro tren. Su atención fue exquisita con las explicaciones suficientes y dando tiempo a verlo todo con tranquilidad. Además nos había comprado los billetes de tren nocturno a Pingyao y nos acompañó a la estación a recogerlos y a dejar las maletas. También nos aconsejó sobre otros lugares e incluso, llamó de nuestra parte a nuestro siguiente hotel para confirmar la hora de llegada. Durante el tiempo con ella pudimos conversar y nos estuvo contando cosas muy interesantes de China y sus gentes. En resumen, un día intenso y maravilloso. We spend a day during our trip in China with Nancy. She picked us up at the airport in the early morning with a spacious and comfortable van (with driver) and took us to visit the Hanging Temple (amazing), later we had lunch in Datong and then went to the grottoes. Finally she left us in the center of Datong for a walk until our train's time. Her attention was exquisite with precise explanations and gave us time enough to enoy the visits. Besides she had bought our tickets for night train to Pingyao and came we us to the station to get them and leave there our lugagge. She was willing to help in any other things we need for our trip (she even phoned our next hotel to confirm our arrival). During our day with her we could chat about China and its people. In short, an intense and wonderful day
